Autumn Kisses is book three in the Four Seasons of Love series from Author Te Russ. The previous titles-- all stand alone novels-- were A Spring Affair and Sultry Southern Nights. I'm really enjoying this series of short but sweet love stories from Te, not only because it guarantees that I get four new books from her this year (wink wink) but because it also guarantees that I get a lovely story that is void of unnecessary drama and a storyline that doesn't drag.This story is also close to my heart because the hero, Rowan, is a writer, deep in the throes of writer's block. I know the feeling and fortunately he has an editor with a kind heart and a home on Martha's Vineyard. UNfortunately, his editor's niece, Laurel "Sapphire Woods" Asher has access to the house and decides to schedule a little get away while Rowan is there.
The two decide to share the house and the attraction between them is immediate and electric. While Laurel enjoys a break from her very public life as a jazz singer, Rowan has begun writing again, citing his new roomie as his muse.
Here's where things always get a little iffy for this reader. This is a romance, so of course the two fall in love....... just uber quickly and within a month's time. Before the season is over there is major movement in the relationship and ... well. I have a really hard time with insta love. In this case, the fall is very romantic and sweet. I didn't *hate* reading it but it did drag the stars down for me, just a tad.
An underlying story in this novel is the issue of Laurel's privacy and the 'wanna be a star' talk show host who's digging into her past, set to expose Laurel- or Sapphire-- to the world. This plot line is a real page turner and I thought the outcome was FABULOUS and most appropriate. It actually kind of made me laugh.
Autumn Kisses is just the kind of short-yet- delightful read that I have come to expect from Te Russ. On to the next one! Winter Rendezvous is coming in December!

As usual this was a good read. Liked the characters and how some of the other characters from previous books made an appearance. Can't wait for the last season and other books by Ms. Russ.
One of the best stories I have read this year. It wasn’t all about sex as too many "romance" novels have now become. A great story line that had your attention. Autumn is my favorite thing me of year so it was a joy to read a book centered around it. Looking forward to her Winter book.
If you looking for a quick love story that will make you feel good when your done than this series is it!! If you haven't read the first two start there I'm a committed reader and was once again pleased with this story and how it unfolded!! Already looking forward to the first day of winter so I can read the final book!!
I enjoyed this novel by Te Russ. It was my first time reading her work, and she didn't disappoint. I like the dynamics of the story and the characters involved. The only thing I can critique is Rowan and Laurel their quick relationship seemed unbelievable at times. But I guess they say, when you know you know! Overall, this book was an easy read and a pleasant one at that.
Ms. Russ is the bomb!! I enjoy how characters from her other books are entwined in the storyline. Michelle was no joke! Defend and have your back! Ms. Russ writes without vulgarity or harsh language. True romance into a story to be enjoyed. I am the proud owner of ALL Ms. Russ books and am looking forward to December 23rd. Even through that almost three months away.

Oh my! Te' Russ does it again! I absolutely loved her novel Autumn Kisses. I was so enthralled by this riveting love story I've read three times already over a span of two weeks.
The cover draws you in which is absolutely gorgeous teasing you to open and then you are sure to be immersed in a story that draws you in so compelling Rowan and Laurel are so made for one another!
I love their physical and sweet attraction as well as the plot and story line that kept me invested and wanting the story not to end, really! Can't wait for more for more. I need more from this talented author like, pronto lol!
